Today I reached another milestone in the development of my fiction and research.
I formally completed The Martinez Architectonic Genre Register, a comprehensive framework that brings six genre architectures together within one unified system.
The six registered architectures are:
Mythotechnic Fiction
Meta-Mythic Delphic Fiction
Ontological Systems Fiction
Predatory Institutional Gothic
Promethean Authority Fiction
Aetheric Law Fantasy
The register developed gradually over time as different ideas, stories, research questions, and theoretical structures began connecting with one another.
Bringing all six architectures together required something I had not previously created: one formal document establishing their names, definitions, boundaries, relationships, and place within the larger research program.
That document now exists.
Each genre approaches narrative construction from a different direction.
Mythotechnic Fiction examines the interaction between mythology, technology, authority, and human meaning.
Meta-Mythic Delphic Fiction examines prophecy, interpretation, knowledge, and the relationship between what is predicted and what eventually becomes real.
Ontological Systems Fiction examines existence, reality, creation, and the acquisition of authority over the structures governing them.
Predatory Institutional Gothic examines institutions as consuming, enclosing, and psychologically invasive systems.
Promethean Authority Fiction explores forbidden ascent, unauthorized power, and the consequences of acquiring authority beyond accepted boundaries.
Aetheric Law Fantasy, the newest architecture, enters the fantasy tradition through a system in which magic operates through law, jurisdiction, covenants, rights, obligations, enforcement, and metaphysical consequence.
Together, these six architectures now form the primary genre register within a much larger body of fiction and research.
The register preserves an important distinction between the six primary genres and the many experimental forms developed through Architectonic Genre Synthesis and the Martinez Architectonic Genre Corpus.
It provides a stable foundation from which those other forms can continue to develop.
The six-genre register gives the larger body of work an organized foundation and provides readers, researchers, and critics with a single point of reference for understanding how the major genre architectures relate to one another.

The paper contains the formal definitions, classification boundaries, relationships among the six architectures, and their position within the larger Martinez architectonic research program.
For me, the most satisfying part is much simpler.
They are finally all in one place.
Six genres.
One register.
One documented foundation.
And plenty of room left to see where the fiction takes them next.
