Hi, I’m Francisco M. Martinez.

I am an author, screenwriter, independent researcher, and storyteller from Denver, Colorado. My work spans science fiction, fantasy, horror, mythology, novels, screenwriting, comics, video games, lyrics, and worldbuilding.

I am the author of Revelations, Three Thousand Year Reich, The Hermit series, The Hermit Mythos, and other works of speculative fiction.

My writing moves through mythology, machinery, theology, artificial intelligence, ruined worlds, Gothic architecture, institutional power, post-apocalyptic memory, and the struggle of the human soul to survive systems designed to consume it.

I call this literary territory Mythotechnic Fiction.

Mythotechnic Fiction examines what happens when technology becomes more than a tool—when it acquires authority over memory, identity, consciousness, morality, institutions, salvation, and death.

My continuing fiction and conceptual research are also developing several connected literary modes and frameworks, including Predatory Institutional Gothic, Promethean Authority Fiction, Post-Personal Dark Leadership Fiction, Mythotechnic Cosmology, Synthetic Ascension and Archival Resurrection Fiction, and Machine-Institution Fiction.

These areas belong to one developing creative and theoretical program. My new stories continue to test its boundaries, while my research clarifies, refines, and extends its concepts.

I write outsider literature.

I write to build worlds, preserve visions, examine power, and share stories with readers across the world.
