After the dust settled, I realized I wasn’t creating a collection of unrelated books and research papers. I was constructing an interconnected universe.
My background in construction and development helped shape this process: the stories are the houses, the literary territories are the subdivisions, and the research establishes the foundations, roads, boundaries, and connections between them.
